School Clubs and Organizations

PSD high school students play rock, paper, scissors outside.

Student Organizations

PSD encourages the formation of and active participation in student activities and organizations (clubs) and to allow clubs to meet at school as provided for under District Policy IGDA. Student organizations may be school-sponsored, and at the secondary level (middle and high school) may also be student-initiated and led. All clubs must operate under PSD policy IGDA. Student-led clubs are also subject to the Federal Equal Access Act.

  • School-sponsored clubs can be established at the discretion of the district. These activities and organizations are considered part of the school program. To see school-sponsored clubs available at your school, please visit your school website.
  • Student-initiated and led clubs/organizations are created by middle and high school students. Students interested in starting a club at their school should contact the school's activities director to start the application process. The listing of student-led clubs at secondary schools is provided below.
