Introduction Video

Project SEARCH (brochure) is a business led collaboration that enables young adults with disabilities to gain and maintain employment through career exploration and training at UCHealth Poudre Valley Hospital.

  • Services: Students participate in three internships in their interest areas within UCHealth. Occasionally, students seek an externship outside of UCHealth for the third rotation.

  • Eligibility: Students ages 18-21 who receive services through PSD Integrated Services and have documented transition needs in their IEP are eligible. Students must be interested in obtaining paid employment and have completed all graduation credit requirements prior to program entry. Preference is given to students who have completed at least two semesters of ACE in high school. Ideal candidates are prepared to complete their final year of PSD support and have applied for - and are eligible for - both the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation and Foothills Gateway case management services.
