Dear PSD Community,
We will be adopting a standardized process for reviewing our Board Policies, as opposed to continuing to just review them on an as-needed basis. This will ensure that our policies stay current with the needs of our students, staff and community. With this process in place, each policy will be reviewed every four years and revised as necessary. All proposed revisions will be made public on our website, along with a form for submitting feedback on the proposed changes, so that we can maintain transparency and consider a wide variety of voices and perspectives.
This review process will begin in August, so you can expect to see the first revision memo online in October. If this is of interest to you, stay tuned for the schedule determining which policies will be reviewed at what time. All of these updates will be shared in PSD's staff and community newsletters.
