Our department oversees:
Accessibility
As of 08/01/2025, the Accessibility Office is a group directly under Human Resources and will no longer operate under Risk Management.
Poudre School District (PSD) is dedicated to the inclusion of all individuals; making sure everyone in our community feels welcome in all our spaces and creating and maintaining spaces for learning and working in which every person feels like they belong. Our efforts towards this commitment include making our digital content, physical spaces, programs, and services accessible to all and help us create an educational environment where everyone has equal access.
Please visit our Accessibility page for more information.
Accommodations
As of 08/01/2025, the Accessibility Office is a group directly under Human Resources and will no longer operate under Risk Management.
PSD is committed to nondiscriminatory hiring and employment practices. We provide reasonable accommodations in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA), and the Providing Urgent Maternal Protections (PUMP) for Nursing Mothers Act, ensuring an inclusive and supportive workplace for all employees.
For more information on how to seek accommodations, please visit our Accommodations page.
Ergonomics
Workplace ergonomics includes the design of tools, workspaces, and tasks to fit the physical capabilities and limitations of workers, aiming to prevent injuries and enhance productivity at work.
If a worksite setup is causing discomfort or injury, staff may request an ergonomic evaluation. These evaluations may be supported through either the worksite/department, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Workers’ Compensation processes, depending on the nature of the concern.
Our goal is to ensure that all employees have the tools and accommodations they need to work comfortably and effectively. For more information or to request an evaluation, please email risk@psdschools.org.

Workers' Compensation
Poudre School District values the health and safety of all employees. Workers' Compensation is a state-mandated insurance program that provides benefits to employees who experience work-related injuries or illnesses. If you are injured on the job, PSD’s Workers' Compensation program helps cover medical expenses and may provide wage replacement during recovery. Our goal is to ensure that every employee receives timely care and support throughout the recovery process.
