Forbes Names Poudre School District One of the Best Employers for New Graduates

The commitment to excellence at Poudre School District extends beyond the classroom – it begins with the people who make up its staff. That dedication was recently recognized by Forbes, which ranked PSD among the best employers in the nation for new graduates.

PSD earned the No. 254 spot on Forbes’ list of the top 500 employers for new graduates nationwide. Notably, PSD was the only school district in Colorado to make the list and the second-highest ranked school district across the entire country.

"This recognition from Forbes is a testament to the inclusive, supportive and mission-driven culture we strive to build every day,” said Superintendent Brian Kingsley. “We are proud to be a destination for talented individuals who are passionate about shaping the future. It is an honor to know that new professionals across the country see PSD as a place where they can grow and make a difference.”

The list is based on survey responses from more than 100,000 young professionals – defined as those with less than 10 years of work experience – employed by companies with at least 1,000 workers in the U.S. Respondents rated their employers on a variety of factors, including wages, benefits, advancement opportunities, working conditions, flexibility, company image, and inclusion.

Poudre School District remains committed to attracting and supporting dedicated educators and staff members who are driven to serve students and families. Every day, our employees contribute to a community where excellence in education thrives, and this recognition affirms the importance of that work.
