Traut student repeats as spelling bee champ; 11 students move on to state

For the third year in a row, fifth-grader Nikhil Ganta is the champion of the Poudre School District Spelling Bee. The Traut Elementary School student successfully spelled "ancillary" to win the 2025 title.

The written spelling and vocabulary Colorado Bee will be held Thursday, Feb. 20, followed by the in-person state spelling nee on Saturday, March 8, at Sturm Hall at the University of Denver.
