Poudre School District joins other districts across the country in celebrating volunteers during National Volunteer Week, April 17-21. This week-long event recognizes the huge contributions volunteers make by sharing their time and talent with our students and staff. A resolution in support of volunteer week will be presented to the PSD Board of Education at their meeting on Tuesday, April 18.

PSD selects new executive director of Integrated Services Department
Poudre School District is pleased to announce Dennis Rastatter as the district’s new executive director of the Integrated Services Department.
PSD's biometric pilot program for buying school meals - what to know
Poudre School District is testing out new technology in four schools this spring with a goal of making it quicker and easier to buy school meals.
PSD will evaluate a biometric finger-scanning pilot program between mid-April and May 25 to see if it makes the meal-purchasing process more efficient at Linton and Dunn elementary, Kinard middle, and Rocky Mountain High schools. Faster checkout times would help PSD to better implement the voter-approved free school meal program, which could yield an increase in meals served.
New Elementary Literacy Curriculum Adopted
Beginning in the 2023-24 school year, the majority of elementary schools in Poudre School District will use a new elementary literacy curriculum. The new curriculum, adopted by the PSD Board of Education on April 4, 2023, is called Imagine Learning EL Education K-5.
