PSD schools closed Wednesday, Feb. 22, for snow day
All Poudre School District schools will be closed Wednesday, Feb. 22, due to predicted inclement weather and road conditions. This is NOT a remote learning day.
All after-school school activities and athletics for Feb. 22 are cancelled, as well as AlphaBEST before- and after-school care.
High school students who attend classes at Front Range Community College or Colorado State University should check with the college to determine if classes are in session.
Our classified staff - get to know them and how they support students
This year PSD honors more than 1,800 colleagues who serve the district in 200 different classified roles for Classified Employee Appreciation Week (Feb. 13-17). Classified employees hold dozens of positions across the district from those in Early Childhood Education, to paraprofessionals, translators, bus drivers and more. We thank you for all that you do, and we could not support students without your work.
Dallen Campbell is PSD's new director of infrastructure and technical services
Poudre School District is pleased to announce the hiring of Dallen Campbell to serve as the director of infrastructure and technical services in the Information Technology (IT) Department. Campbell started his new role with PSD in December.
PSD testing water for lead as part of a new state law
PSD is working with the state health department to ensure drinking water is healthy or made safer for students and staff by testing it for lead and reducing levels if they are too high.
New JROTC program launching fall 2023, open to all high schoolers
Poudre School District and the U.S. Army are hoping to launch a new Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps Program that will be open to all PSD high schoolers. The aim is to start the program, better known as Junior ROTC or JROTC, in August 2023 at Poudre High School in northwest Fort Collins.
