PSD schools will start two hours later than normal Tuesday, Nov. 29, due to predicted inclement weather. Here is what you can expect:
Bus pick-up times: Buses will pick up students at bus stops 2 hours later than the regular schedule. Road conditions may increase travel time for buses and students may have a longer wait time at bus stops.

A strong public school district is the bedrock of a strong community. Poudre School District is one of the top-performing districts in the state, and we are committed to being even better.
All after-school extracurricular activities, programs, events and athletics are canceled today, Nov. 17, 2022. This decision has been made because the National Weather Service placed Fort Collins and the surrounding areas under a winter storm warning due to expected significant snow and wind.
Schools will be released on normal bell schedules.

During a recent visit to Irish Elementary School I was inspired by Bianca, who is wise beyond her years. A fifth grader at the bilingual school, she sought me out to show me her journal where she captures her personal journey. During our time together, I saw her step into her leadership and her voice.
The Poudre School District Board of Education at Tuesday’s meeting voted to approve the 2023-24 school year calendar now available on the Calendars and Schedules web page.
The following are some dates of note:
In the 2021-22 school year, Poudre School District identified 1,312 students pre-k through 12th-grade, or 4% of our student population, who experienced some form of homelessness and qualified for McKinney-Vento services.
