The Digital Educator Program (DEP) is an on-going strategic initiative of the PSD Foundation developed in collaboration with the Poudre School District. PSDF and other donors funded the Digital Educator Program (DEP) pilot beginning in May 2009. DEP is a staff development program to help teachers learn how to integrate technology into their lesson units in order to engage students, to improve student learning and achievement, and to build 21st Century workforce skills for both teachers and students. The pilot focused mainly on 4th grade teaching teams and includes two middle schools school. This signature technology initiative is now available in over half the elementary schools across the District with the goal of all 32 elementary schools having a 4th grade team trained by 2011. If you would like to make a contribution to the DEP Program, contact the Foundation office for additional information.
