Families of Transition Pathways Program students are invited to attend an information session regarding a potential change to Transition Pathways Program locations. The information session will be held 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 9, at the Partnership Center, 1630 Stover St., Fort Collins (behind PSD Global Academy).
The information session will provide details about a proposal to put our Transitions programs under one roof and expand the available space to provide more students access to 18–21-year-old programming with same-age peers at a site in the community instead of their high schools. Combining programs into one site would allow for better programming design, and usage of staffing resources could be shared in one program rather than separately to ensure students have the designated support.
During the information sessions, families will be asked to share how this potential change may benefit or impact their student(s) who participate in Transition Pathways Programs. We will send a survey to all families of students who attend Transition Pathways Programs after the information session. In addition, we will share information about this possible shift with the Board of Education at their October 22 board meeting.
Please keep an eye out for more updates as decisions are made about this potential move.
