PSD schools host open houses in November and December - see the list!

Whether your child is enrolling in Poudre School District for the very first time or moving up a level to a PSD middle or high school (or middle-high school), attending an open house is a great way to get acquainted with the people and programs in their building. 

Open House events and Information Nights will take place across PSD in November and December 2023 to coincide with the first-round school choice application period Nov. 1 through Dec. 15. Registration for all schools in the 2024-25 school year launches Monday, Nov. 27.  

Families can register children for kindergarten online starting on Monday, Nov. 27, or register in-person at their neighborhood elementary school on Wednesday, Dec. 6. Families are asked to please register for kindergarten as close to Dec. 6 as possible to help schools predict enrollment and know how many school choice seats to offer.

Elementary School Open Houses

  • Bacon – Kindergarten Information Night, 6-7 p.m., Dec. 5, 5844 S. Timberline Road in Fort Collins. 
  • Bamford – Kindergarten Information Night, 5:30-6 p.m., Dec. 11, 6055 Traverse Stakes Way in Loveland. Tours for incoming students (all grades), 6-6:30 p.m., Dec. 11.

  • Fort Collins – Eighth Grade Open House and Exhibition of Learning, 6-8 p.m., Dec. 6, 3400 Lambkin Way in Fort Collins. Event starts in the McNeal Auditorium, then families can visit classrooms, talk with current students, and learn about FCHS programs.
