Free parent/caregiver summit Aug. 3

Parents, grandparents and caregivers interested in enhancing their parenting skills and learning how they can better support their children are encouraged to attend the Parent, Grandparent, Kin Caregiver Summit on August 3.

The free summit will be held 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 3, at Rocky Mountain High School, 1300 W. Swallow in Fort Collins.

The summit will feature expert-led workshops on trauma-informed care, understanding the iGen generation, managing social media influence and addressing school avoidance. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with other caregivers and gain valuable insights to enhance their parenting and grandparenting skills.

Free PSD Summer Meals at Linton and Bauder

Summer vacation is right around the corner.  Even though kids may not be in class, they can still power their minds and bodies with a nutritious meal. Poudre School District is feeding kids this summer...for free! 

Any child, age 18 and younger, in Larimer County can receive free meals this summer from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on week days, June 3 - Aug. 2 at Linton Elementary School, 4100 Caribou Drive, or Bauder Elementary School, 2345 W. Prospect Road.

 Meals will not be served on June 19, July 4 and July 5.  

Meals will be provided to all children at no charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination during the meal service. Adults may purchase a meal for $4.65. This institution is an equal opportunity provider.
