Dear PSD community,
A strong public school district is the bedrock of a strong community. Poudre School District is one of the top-performing districts in the state, and we are committed to being even better.
PSD is developing a strategic plan to guide its work over the next several years. We believe we will improve student outcomes by honoring what currently makes PSD great and better aligning our efforts as a system through this plan. Our focus areas are literacy, mental health and belonging, safety, and graduation with options.

Our district can’t do this work alone. Your voices matter.
Throughout the fall, PSD hosted 35 community engagement sessions in multiple languages to get feedback from students, staff, parents/guardians, and community members. We updated PSD’s strategic plan framework based on what you shared and want to get your opinions one more time.
Adults can take a survey now through Dec. 11.
- The survey is available here in English, Spanish or Arabic.
- View the revised draft of the strategic plan framework on the PSD Strategic Plan web page.
Students in grades 4-12 will take the survey at school before Dec. 11. PSD will provide opportunities during the school day for students to take a voluntary, student-specific survey on the draft strategic plan.
This is a chance for students to tell us what they think about our four priority areas (literacy, mental health and belonging, graduation with options, and safety), the goals within each of these areas, and the strategies we anticipate using to accomplish those goals. Here is a link to the student survey for the strategic plan.>>

Thank you for your continued partnership.
Sincerely,
Poudre School District
