Poudre School District experts will conduct presentations and answer questions during a free workshop titled “PSD 101: Educating Parents and the Community to Help Educate our Kids.”
Parents, community members and staff are invited to the workshop, which will be held from 6 to 9:30 p.m., Monday, October 4, at Lesher International Baccalaureate Middle School, 1400 Stover. No pre-registration is required. Spanish interpreters will be available. PSD's District Advisory Board (DAB) is coordinating the event.
The evening will include several breakout sessions for participants to select from. The DAB "PSD 101" flyer lists all topics that will be available at the workshop.
About DAB:
Comprised of parent representatives form each school, the DAB serves as a sounding board to identify common goals and concerns in PSD. DAB presents information, suggestions, requests, or resolutions to the Board of Education; provides support for the betterment of public education in Poudre School District; and offers a valuable link between the community and Poudre School District.
