Members of the Board of Education will be hold a community input session for Mountain School parents and community members from 7 to 9:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 8, in the media room at Livermore Elementary, 360 Red Feather Lakes Road.

This community forum is an opportunity for the Mountain School community to talk with board members about the topic "After the Fire."

Members of the Board of Education will be hold a community input session from noon to 1 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 8, in community room 1 at the Main Fort Collins Library, 201 Peterson St.

This forum is an opportunity for community members to talk with board members about educational issues facing PSD.

Those attending are welcome to bring their lunch and eat while meeting with board members.

All students return to school. Students' first day back in school following Winter Break.

A teacher work day is scheduled. No school for K-12 students. Staff on duty.

The PSD Food Advisory Panel will meet from 3 to 5 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 25, in room 214 at Timberline Church.

October is National Safe Schools Month. In the wake of the Jessica Ridgeway tragedy, PSD wants to provide parents with resources that will help them as they talk to their children about safety issues.

A community forum about how to talk with your children about the recent tragedy and how to keep your children safe will be held at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 23, at the Coloradoan, 1300 Riverside Ave.

PSD is collaborating with University of Colorado Health, Fort Collins Police Services and the Coloradoan to  offer the forum.
